Official Local Authority Searches (LLC1 & CON29)
An Official Local Authority search is an accurate and up-to-date picture of information that could affect the property including planning proposals, traffic schemes, conservation areas and compulsory purchase orders.
HIP-UK will provide an Official Local Authority Search from the regions from which we work.
Most Hip Pack companies only provide Personal Searches but HIP-UK provides a full Official Local Authority Search which the Law Society recommends is the only true and correct search procedure.
If you rely on a personal search from a solicitor, HIP Company or personal search company, may we remind you that they are not given, or entitled to receive, answers to the questions on the CON29, and any information they do obtain is not covered by Section 10(3) of the Local Land Charges Act 1975 which relates to compensation for loss.
